Great News!

We have a GO for the Business Expo on August 13, 1999. We are holding this event at the same time as the "Groovin' at the Grove" concert event. We will have our function inside the Grove building from 5:30 - 7:00pm. The concert starts after this. We will be obtaining tables for the businesses to place their displays on. As more details are determined we will notify participating businesses. If you are a member there is no fee. If you are not a member the only fee would be the organization membership fee. Please contact Cathy Bonewell at 851-6929 as soon as possible so that we can get a handle on how many tables we will need. This will be a great opportunity to show of your business and what you can do. Holding this event at the same time as the "Groovin' at the Grove" event should definitely bring people to us and make it a success. We don't have a lot of time to pull this off, so don't delay, call today!!

Meeting Times/Speakers

We have had a request to alter the times of the business meetings in the hopes of drawing more companies. The request has been for a lunch meeting. We would like to get feedback for you on this. Perhaps every other meeting could be a lunch meeting. We have also established a committee to schedule speakers for our meetings. We would like to publish the speaker and topic well in advance of a meeting so that you can adjust your schedule as needed to attend the meeting. If you know of any interesting speakers or would like to hear someone in particular, please contact Nancy Grathwohl at Fifth Third Bank at 521-5090.

Highway Cleanup

We still have to clean our stretch of Ronald Reagan Highway two more times. Our next clean up is scheduled for July 31 at 8am. We will meet at the firehouse. Last time is only took us two hours to finish. We plan on giving our T-Shirts to those folks who participate that say "Springfield Township Business Association". Next Meeting July 8th

Don't forget that our next meeting is scheduled for July 8 at 8am at the Grove. Our scheduled speakers will be david Heimpold, Chief of Police & Rob Leininger, Fire Chief. They will be discussing crime prevention & emergency preparedness.
