STBA News - Volume 2, Issue 3
May, 1999
It is time for our newsletter again. We had our highway cleanup on the 17th. I would like to express my gratitude for everyone who turned out on such a cold, rainy day. I would especially like to thank Nancy Grathwohl and the young people she brought with her from the key Club at FHS. They filled our ranks so that we could be done by 10am. With such lousy weather that was a blessing. It saved us all from getting pneumonia.
Business Expo In September
The business Expo is still in the design phase. We are looking for a driven person to spearhead this Expo. We are open to any ideas to make this project a success for ourselves and the community. Please see Cathy Bonewell if you are interested in chairing this project. We need help so please step up!!
"The Interchange"
Hamilton Country Department of Environment Services has developed a program to help business dispose of waste. It is called "The Interchange". The Interchange is a materials exchange program and newsletter that connects companies that generate waste with others who can reuse or recycle those materials. It is a free program designed to help businesses and other organizations save money while reducing the burden on local landfills. If you are interested in this please contact: Holly Miller, Business Specialist at (513) 946-7705 or e-mail holly.miller@docs.hamilton-co.org.

Business Directory
We are still getting the directory together. If you have a picture of yourself please get it to Craig Keller at Express Graphics or bring it to the next meeting. Craig will put it next to your business name in the directory. Deadline for pictures is May 15th. We want to publish it in May, so act now.
Next Meeting May 13th
Don't forget that our next meeting is scheduled for May 13 at 8am at the Grove. It is important that you attend. This meeting will hopefully decide our direction as an organization. We have decided on a format so that we can make the best use of our time. The meeting should only last about an hour. That hour could make a difference to you and your business. So please plan on attending.
