PRESENT: Ryhs Reynolds, Jeffery McKanna, Kathy Dennis and Melanie McNulty.
The meeting was held at the Springfield Township Administration Building and was called to order at 8:15 A.M. by president Rhys Reynolds.
New Board Members: Ms. Kathy Dennis was elected to the position of Trustee by unanimous vote of the board. Kathy is with Workforce Solutions.
TreasurerÕs Report Ð Jeff McKanna gave the following financial report:
Balance as of 4-12-06 $2,653.50
Income $250.00
Expenses $652.05
Old Business:
RCP Directories Ð
The directories are to be mailed out by April 21st.
RCP May Meeting Ð
The quarterly meeting will take place at the Ramada Plaza on Sheraton Lane in Springdale at 11:30 on Wednesday, May 17th. The speaker, Dennis Speigel, will talk about the new Purple People Bridge Climb above the Ohio River.
The STCC static clings are in. Rhys will take them to Scott Ficke for distribution.
Jeff McKanna and Kathy Dennis will manage the Chamber of Commerce membership list and keep it updated. Jeff will receive checks for membership and Kathy will update the list, including any changes of information. Scott Ficke will also receive these updates to keep his mailing list in order.
New Business:
May General Meeting Ð
The meeting will be held at the Powel Crosley, Jr. YMCA on
Winton Road. The date is Thursday,
May 11th and it will be begin at 11:30 a.m. A grilled out lunch will be
provided.
Ms. Reynolds will invite Christopher Gilbert, Development Services Director for Springfield Township, to attend and give a Township update.
Melanie asked if the STCC would like to sponsor the DonatoÕs booth again on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1 as a fund-raiser for the organization. Members will be emailed to try to recruit volunteers to chair and work the booth.
